Guidelines for Symposia, Workshop, Oral and ePoster
Dear Presenters,

Greetings from the IAWMH 2025 team!
​
We are delighted to have you contribute to the upcoming event. Please find below the guidelines for Conference Symposia, Workshop, Oral, and ePoster presentations to ensure smooth and effective delivery of your sessions.
​
General Instructions
​
-
Please arrive at the hall 15 minutes before your presentation. We recommend that you find out where your hall is the previous day, as they are at different sites on the NIMHANS Campus
-
There will be hall managers/volunteers and technical staff who will assist you in your presentation halls
-
The chairs will introduce you and will moderate the discussion
-
The timer will be set depending on type of presentation and will be closed at the end of the session. This is to facilitate managing the time.

Only e-Certificates will be issued
-
Participation certificates will be issued for people who register and attend.
-
Presentation certificates will be issued to presenting authors only at the IAWMH and not to submitting authors or co-authors.

Each participant will receive an individual certificate for presentations done
-
There will be prizes for Best Oral and ePoster presentations, which will be announced in the Closing ceremony on 8th March 2025

Symposia Presentation Guidelines
​

Each symposium session will have a total duration of 60 minutes, including time for discussion (This includes all presentations and discussions which is moderated by Chairs)
-
Presenters are requested to adhere to their allocated time (preferably not over 15 minutes per presenter and finally 15 minutes discussion facilitated by the chair with the audience.

Please ensure that your slides are in Microsoft Powerpoint/ PDF and compatible with the provided AV setup. Please use standard font types : Arial, Calibri, Verdana, Times New Roman or Helvetica and appropriate font sizes

If you are using videos or animations please ensure offline access as we cannot ensure internet connectivity in all places.

Please use standard video or audio or image formats to ensure an error free presentation (eg mp3, mp4 or JPEG)

Conference Workshop Presentation Guidelines

Each conference workshop will be for a total duration of 60 minutes,

Presenters are requested to adhere to their allocated time.

​Oral Presentation Guidelines
-
Each presentation will allow only one presenter to present
-
Prepare your slides as PowerPoint or PDF. Other formats may not be supported.
-
You will not be allowed to use your own laptop.
-
Please use standard font types : Arial, Calibri, Verdana, Times New Roman or Helvetica and appropriate font sizes. Do not overcrowd the slides.

The allotted time for each presentation is 10 minutes which includes 8 minutes of presentation and 2 minutes of discussion and adhere to the allocated time strictly

We suggest that you have a maximum of 8 slides. Embed all the media files into your presentation, and do not rely on accessing the Internet during your presentation

You will be sent a unique link to your given email address to upload your presentation (one link per one presentation)

Presentation slides should be submitted by link at the earliest to ensure seamless proceedings.
ePoster Presentation guidelines

Each presentation will allow only one presenter to present

You will not be allowed to use your own laptop.

Please refer to detailed technical specifications to submit your ePoster

You will get 5 minutes to present an ePoster and it will be an oral presentation but with a single ePoster in pdf format and not slides
-
You will be sent a unique link to your given email address to upload your presentation (one link per one presentation)

Please submit your e-Poster file by link at the earliest for a hassle free process

Technical specification for E-Poster preparation
Please submit your E-Poster as a PDF file in landscape orientation.

File Format: PDF file – 1 page is recommended
-
Orientation: Please create your document in PowerPoint in Landscape Layout 16×9 and Save it as a PDF file

Font types: Arial, Calibri, Verdana, Times New Roman or Helvetica
-
Font size: > 11
-
Hyperlinks, animated images, animations and embedded videos are not permitted
-
QR Codes may be included
-
Images and tables: at least 200 dpi. Good picture quality is essential.

When inserting images, photos, tables, etc., use copy-paste. Do not use embedded documents
-
Avoid overlapping objects and layers. Only the final view/status will be visible
-
When saving your PDF please do not use symbols or special characters (ie. +/@/ü) in the file name
-
File size: Less than 5 MB
-
If you wish, you may use a template that can be downloaded
**Please note that you may NOT save the file name with any characters or symbols – only letters and numbers and no spaces in the file name.
By following the guidelines, you will ensure your e-poster is displayed correctly.
Without following these instructions your E-Poster will be unable to be uploaded.
